Hi, I'm Beth & I'm so glad you are here!
Building Healthy Cultures for the Healers.
As a woman founder, you’ve built a practice dedicated to helping others—but who is looking after the health of your organization?Hi, I’m Beth—founder of Lakeview Counseling Services, leadership consultant, and LCSW. I help group practice owners build cultures where clinicians stay, clients thrive, and leadership feels authentic and sustainable. At The Culture Confidante, I bridge the gap between business operations and human connection, helping you lead with the same care you provide your patients.
From Solo Clinician to Thriving Leader
What I’ve built wasn’t by accident. Over the past decade, I’ve grown a thriving group practice in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago by creating the kind of workplace I always wanted for myself. Today, Lakeview Counseling Services is home to over 10 clinicians and is known for exceptional care and a culture that allows people to be fully themselves. That success came through years of trial and error, growth, and learning how to lead with clarity, vulnerability, and intention. Along the way, I discovered a deep passion for helping other founders do the same. I work alongside you to identify pain points, strengthen your leadership skills, and intentionally shape a climate that supports both your people and your growth.
Rooted in Clinical Expertise
My foundation as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker shapes everything I do. I began my career working with children and teens, where I developed a deep appreciation for systems, relationships, and the impact of strong support. My focus evolved further when I became a mother. Experiencing the overwhelming transition into parenthood firsthand made me realize how little we discuss the mental health of caregivers. This led me to specialize in helping moms navigate anxiety and depression—a mission that remains at the core of Lakeview Counseling Services today.
Beyond the Practice
I’ve called Illinois home for the past 20 years. When I’m not partnering with founders or seeing clients, you can find me outdoors with my husband and two kids—whether we’re on the lake, hiking, grilling, or skiing in the winter. I’m also an avid reader and a perpetual student of leadership podcasts.
